Misha and Otar, a gay couple in St. Petersburg, are pioneers of Queer Tango, bringing a bold new vision to Russia’s traditional dance scene. As they organize a groundbreaking Queer Tango festival, they introduce a space where gender roles dissolve, and anyone can lead or follow. However, with growing societal tension and worsening conditions for LGBTQ+ people, they are forced to consider leaving their homeland. Their journey is a powerful celebration of self-expression, love, and the unifying magic of tango.
